What an incredibly busy few months we’ve had!

We are delighted to share that we have been working with a number of new schools and organisations recently to make outdoor education activities, such as the Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) Scheme, accessible to more young people.

Sherbourne Fields School in Coventry is the first of a number of grants we would like to update you on. Sherbourne is a special needs school that have been running the DofE Scheme for a number of years now but, in order to be completely inclusive a lot of specialist equipment is needed such as offroad wheelchairs, portable hoists, easy access sleeping bags & tents etc.. Funding for both parents and the school is therefore a constant challenge.

Please do check out their website: https://www.sherbournefields.co.uk/. Through your donations we have been able to help students such as Warwick and Lara to participate in the DofE scheme and develop new skills and build confidence. Warwick has pushed himself out side his comfort zone, trying new activities such as canoeing and rafting that otherwise would not have been accessible to him. And Lara says she absolutely loves the outdoors and through the camping activities, and volunteering aspects of the scheme, her confidence and social skills have really benefited.

We are so pleased that we can help Warwick, Lara and many other students like them. Thank you for your continued support and donations.
